POSITIVE INITIATIVES !
Here, the whole town, tourist office and local associations have, over the years, committed themselves to preserving a clean,
natural space that everyone can enjoy. It’s easy to be an eco-citizen !
We can all be “a hands-on walker!”
Join the movement and adopt the basics to become an eco-tourist!
The Tourist Office team is on hand to advise how to become a proper beach “hummingbird”!
No action is too small when we all pitch in! So, that’s the eco-tourist charter – let’s kickstart that green attitude! Beach ashtrays, eco-cups, tidal bins and recycling bins !! It's actually not that hard, is it ? So, that’s the eco-tourist charter – let’s kickstart that green attitude! Beach ashtrays, eco-cups, tidal bins and recycling bins !!
It's actually not that hard, is it ? We take part in voluntary clearing initiatives (#2mn Beach Clean), and group sessions involving the resort's various participants: traders, lifeguards, marine professionals and walkers. We meet all sorts of lovely people, in a really good-natured atmosphere !
Clean Coast Info
He’s a real ideas box ! A total enthusiast, Greg is one of these people with a knack for bringing others together. Co-creator of the Beach Art Festival, he’s also very keen to protect the environment and nature.
After Storm Eleanore, which washed up huge amounts of waste along the coastline, something in him clicked into place. Greg launched an emergency appeal for a clean-up operation and founded "Clean Beach Info". The aim is to inform, warn, observe and pass on information about actions carried out to safeguard and preserve the beach.
Fun and memories through community actions
Leo: litter picker
He already has a good dozen beach cleans to his name. At school, he belongs to the “Educational Marine Area” section and takes a great interest in the beach's cleanliness. He is proof that children can also possess a strong environmental awareness, right from a very young age.
Max: wickerwork recycling pro
Max transforms fishing nets washed up on the beach into beautiful little baskets or cute fish ! Great idea, Max ! An original workshop not to be missed, in a great atmosphere !
Medusa project with school children
What if we turned our rubbish into works of art! That’s the challenge set by local artist Sophie Hélène, who gave schoolchildren an original project that saw the creation of three plastic jellyfish. And you know what? They even floated around in the sea during the Beach Art Festival !Beach Art Festival
